We work on a no inventory basis in order to reduce waste as much as possible. We processed and make all orders, as we as receive them. This is to make sure we don’t end up with pre-produced, unwanted items going into landfill. We have a strong manufacturing system in place to make sure we can get any order ready to be shipped within 3-5 days.
We are against cruelty to animals. Understanding what goes on behind the scenes in the leather industry we decided not to use leather. We believe that no animal should suffer so another could wear its skin. And that is why we opted for using vegan leather. It is a man made, polyurethane based fabric. It is strong, very durable and comes in an incredible variety of colors.
Our signature cool is vibrant and colorful. That’s why our products are heavy on print. In order to be eco friendly we opted for sublimation printing. It is a lot less polluting than traditional fabric dying. Also it does not produce any harmful waste. Sublimation printing will last long even if you wash your products regularly. Not to mention that it produces beautiful, vivid colors that fits our aesthetic.
Most of our fabric sourcing, printing and production happens locally. This is to make sure we cut back on our carbon footprint. Cutting out air miles in the sourcing and production phase contributes to a more sustainable future. Not to mention that it comes handy in the quality control phase. So when you purchase our products, you support Hungarian craftsmanship.
We use recycled fabrics. All the stuffing we use in our coats and toys are made out of recycled PET bottles. We source this fibre in a Northern Italian factory. We are proud of not adding more unnecessary plastic to the environment. That’s why we decided to extend our range of recycled polyesters. By 2020, we are hoping to use it for the outer shell of our products.
We don’t want our fabric to go into landfill. That’s why we are working towards reducing product waste completely. We adjust all of our patterns to minimize waste reduction. Then use leftover fabric to cut our toys. Where possible we always reuse or donate unwanted fabric so it gets a new life as filling or upcycled toys.
